Welcome to Tollboden Café & Restaurant in Kragerø!

An intimate sea shanty restaurant from the 18th centuary.
The restaurant is located in a sea shanty to the right of the court yard, seating up to 60 and divided into three cosy rooms. The food we serve is of a high, home made quality and prepared with love. In the kitchen our inspiration comes predominatly from Italy, France and norwiegian homely fare. Tollboden is a popular meeting place which attracts guests from all ages. The restaurant is open from Febuary to December.

Tollboden caters for every occasion
If you only fancy a good drink you are more than welcome, we have a lot to offer!  On the menu we have everything fron small snacks to a delicious seven course menu.

A cosy Saturday lunch in the cold winter months
It is wonderful for body and soul to relax in warm and confortable surroundings after Saturday's shopping spree.  On cold days snuggle up with a rich, home made, hot chocolate and cream, served with fresh baked waffles.

Outside serving with a mediteranean feel
In the summer months there is outside service with 250 seats in the court yard and on the quay side.  The people, the music and the atmosphere together, create a very mediteranean flavour.

Tollboden offers different historical function rooms, which are available for up to 60 guests (in three rooms).
